In two large-format projection images, Sabine Reinfeld merges film and photo material taken in Prague and Berlin with Josef Sudek’s image archive. Her body confronts, acts, mediates. The multi-layered live performance is an attempt to demonstrate how the urgency and atmosphere of physical gestures can only produce meaning in close entanglement with their multiple media avatars – as a choreographed field of tension between failure and appropriation.
